Education is a central value of Catholic Financial Life. In support of that value, we offer our members a series of educational benefits. In fact, in 2018, $283,000 in grade school, high school and college scholarships were awarded to our members!
To reinforce our mission of serving God through serving others, we require volunteer work as part of the high school and college scholarship application process. High school and college students who are interested in applying for scholarships need to provide a log of their volunteer service hours.
Members must create an online account to apply for member benefits. To create an account click here.
Members who attend Catholic elementary schools are eligible for a $200 scholarship.
Members who attend Catholic high schools are eligible for a $500 scholarship.
Members who attend college are eligible for a $500 or $1000 scholarship.
A limited number of scholarships are available each year. High school and college scholarships are awarded based on the number of service hours completed by applicants in the year prior to the scholarship deadline (March 31) and the number of members who apply that year. Although there is a minimum of 5 hours of service required to be eligible to apply for a high school scholarship, and 10 hours for college, we encourage each applicant to volunteer more than the minimum number of hours.
As always, applicants may submit their service hour forms by postal mail, fax, or electronically attached to an email (scanned PDF or photo) that is sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
Those who are unable to obtain signatures right now on their service hour form may instead list the name of the person who supervised their work and the email or phone number of that person.
